The 2008 season saw Paul supporting an up and coming young racer named Ben Green. The youngster from Salkeld in Cumbria won not one but two National Championships on his Paul Gowland tuned KTM which were the BYMX Junior 65cc Championship, taking 8 wins and 8 second plus 2 third position along the way, and the Elite Youth Cup 65cc Championship.

Quad
John Lumley is a front runner in the annual Weston Beach Race on the Paul Gowland Honda TRX450 race quad. John finished 16th in his first attempt of the tough seaside race in 2007 and was looking to make an even better result in 2008 but a chain problem forced him down the order and out of the top six to cross the finish line in 35th.

Road Racing
Paul Gowland has supported Mike McLean who is competing in the National Superstock 600 Championship which runs alongside the British Superbike Championship in 2008.
Congratulations to Mike on winning the Laird of Croft! The Laird of Croft has been won by many top riders including Paul's son Graeme (2006), who now competes in the World Supersport Championship.
